Tour of the Sonoma County Council on Aging and a lively discussion with their CEO on their priorities, building age friendly communities and healthy aging. Also a tour of their Meals on Wheels kitchen!

The Sonoma County League of Women Voters and
Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Deva Proto discussed changes in the voting process, expansion, outreach, voting protections and security as well as voting legislation acts and challenges facing the US Senate .

Brave New Women- Bravery VS Perfection. An engaging discussion on the cultural and social messages we give to our children, and to ourselves featured 2 TED talks: Sheryl Sandberg, Chief Operating Office of Facebook gave insight into “Why We Have So Few Women Leaders” and Reshma Saujani, Founder and CEO of Girls Who Code, shared why we need to “Teach Girls Bravery, Not Perfection”

Sabrina Baffert, AAUW Fund recipient, presented insights from her research into infectious diseases, and her work on the discovery and improvement of RNA polymerases for improving vaccines.
